Tennessee Has In-Home Visit With 5-Star SEC Commit
The Tennessee Volunteers have taken a few hits in their 2024 class ahead of early national signing day. They lost out on five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, and long-time tight end commit Jonathan Echols flipped to USF. Still, the coaching staff continues to take swings with premier prospects to close the cycle.
Five-star Texas A&M defensive line commit Dominick McKinley is open to hearing pitches again, and Tennessee has his ear. According to On3's Gerry Hamilton, Tennessee met with McKinley for an in-home visit on Monday evening. They aren't the only suitors in the race - McKinley also met with Syracuse on Monday and will meet with Texas A&M, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas before the end of the week.
The offseason is almost underway for Tennessee football. The Vols have concluded the regular season and are now focusing on roster construction for the 2023 season. Volunteer Country has fans covered with all the latest portal entries and NFL Draft declarations. The portal window is from December 4 until January 2. If players don't transfer within that window, they must wait until May following spring practice to enter the transfer portal.
