Longhorns Run Rule Wildcats 20-0 for Midweek Win: Live Game Log

The Longhorns are back at home as they look to improve upon their strong record at Disch-Falk Field this season against ACU.

The Texas Longhorns (26-12, 8-4) are back in action on Wednesday night as they return to Austin to kick off a five-game home stand against the Abilene Christian Wildcats (24-11).

It was an eventful weekend for the Longhorns as they were on the road for the second time in conference play for a three-game series against the Baylor Bears. While they brought home the series win, neither of the two wins came easy for the Longhorns. 

They took the series opener 11-9, but entered the ninth inning ahead 11-3 before giving up six runs. Game two saw another ninth inning implosion as they blew a 9-5 lead, giving up five runs in a 10-9 walk off loss. 

Once again in the finale they won a thriller in 7-6 fashion to take the series, their third conference series win of the year. The win kept them in first place in the Big 12 and saw them move into the top 15 of D1Baseball's top 25.

Now, they look to get a winning streak going once again as they host the Wildcats to kick off their home stand.
