Kyle Flood has struck again.

The Texas Longhorns offensive line coach landed a commitment from the class of 2024 four-star interior offensive lineman Daniel Cruz this past June, fortifying an already impressive class.

On Wednesday, it became official, with Cruz signing his national letter of intent with the Longhorns.

He picked the Longhorns over Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma because of Flood, he told On3.

“His personality and coaching style really fit me well and the people on the team were really genuine," Cruz told On3. "I know Texas is coming back. These next couple of years are going to be special. Even Arch (Manning) hit me up and told me we got a special few years ahead of us and I’m excited for that!”

Cruz told FanNation in March that he and his mom both "love" head coach Steve Sarkisian.

"I love coach Sark, my mom loves him," Cruz said. "We got to sit down in his office and we just feel at home in there. He's very welcoming."
