In this story:

The Texas Longhorns are back in action on Saturday evening as they take on the Kansas Jayhawks for the third time this season in the Big 12 tournament championship.

Texas enters the championship after winning their first game against the  Oklahoma State Cowboys 61-57 and a wire-to-wire 66-60 win over the TCU Horned Frogs in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, the Jayhawks have cruised through their quarterfinals and semifinals matchups with a 78-61 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers and a 71-58 win over the Iowa State Cyclones.

Now, the Longhorns will look to win the rubber match between these two teams and potentially move up a seed line in March Madness from a No. 2 seed to a No. 1 seed should they win.

Both teams won their home matchup in the regular season, with the Longhorns dropping the first game against Kansas 88-80 before ending the regular season with a dominant 75-59 win.
