No. 9 Longhorns vs. No. 3 Kansas: Preview, Betting Odds & How to Watch
AUSTIN -- The No. 9 Texas Longhorns close out the regular season at home against the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday looking to avoid three straight losses for the first time all season.
Texas (22-8, 11-6) fell 75-73 to the No. 22 TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday in Fort Worth. It marked the first time this season that the Longhorns have lost back-to-back games after 81-72 to the Baylor Bears on Feb. 25.
Kansas (25-5, 13-4) has locked up the Big 12 regular-season title with a two-game lead on the rest of the conference, but Saturday's meeting with the Longhorns still has major March Madness implications. A win for Texas could vault it up into potential range for a No. 2 seed while winning the Big 12 Tournament could hold No. 1 seed value.
The Jayhawks topped Texas 88-80 in Lawrence on Feb. 6 and will look for their third-straight series win over the Longhorns.
