Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners: Live In-Game Updates
The No. 6 Texas Longhorns host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday at the Moody Center for their second Big 12 meeting of the regular season.
Texas (20-6, 9-4) took the first meeting over OU in a 70-69 thriller in Norman on Dec. 31 to open up Big 12 play. The Longhorns battled from behind in the closing minutes to secure the win on the road.
But the Longhorns are coming off of arguably their worst loss of the season, as the last-place Texas Tech Red Raiders took down Texas 74-67 in Lubbock on Monday. The Red Raiders entered that game tied for last in the conference and remain in that spot as of Saturday, but got the best of the Longhorns.
Still, this should add some extra juice to a Texas squad that will have it far from easy against the Sooners (13-13, 3-10), who are currently tied with Tech in the Big 12 standings. OU stumbled through a four-game winning streak recently, but sandwiched that slump in between a massive 93-69 win over No. 1 Alabama on Jan. 28 and a 79-65 win over No. 12 Kansas State on Tuesday.
There's been some inconsistencies from coach Porter Moser's team this season, but they've proven they're capable of beating anyone.
Live in-game updates will appear below at tip-off.

It suddenly became the Brock Cunningham show midway through the half, as he had five straight points in under 40 seconds behind a jumper and 3-pointer from the top of the key. But back-to-back turnovers by Texas halted any momentum for the moment, as OU reclaimed the lead at 22-21 despite five straight points from Sir'Jabari Rice.

Allen found space for a turnaround baseline jumper despite being smothered by Jalen Hill before finding Disu in the lane for two more points. But Joe Bamisile responded with five straight points to give OU the lead back at 28-27.
