UCLA Football Injury Report: Offensive Role Player Possibly Nearing Return

Some insights into the Bruins' health heading into Saturday.

Through the 2023 season thus far, your UCLA Bruins have been without the services of two key vets.

Per Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times, at least one of them seems to be on the mend.

Head coach Chip Kelly revealed in some Monday comments to the press that wide receiver Titus Mokiao-Atimalala would join his club for team practice that day. The 6'1", 190-pound junior had a stellar 2022 sophomore season for the Bruins. He recorded 17 receptions for 290 total yards with UCLA (averaging 17.1 yards a carry) and notched one touchdown. It will be fun to see what he looks like catching passes from UCLA's new starting quarterback, 18-year-old true freshman Dante Moore.

Linebacker Ale Kaho, however, was not so lucky. He remains sidelined. The 6'2", 230-pound senior has not suited up for UCLA since the 2021 season, when he had 32 tackles (18 solo, 14 assisted) and three sacks.

UCLA will need all the help it can get next week, when it faces off against Pac-12 conference rival the Utah Utes, the Associated Press' No. 11-ranked club in the nation.
