UCLA Football: Laiatu Latu Racks Up Yet Another Pac-12 Honor For Trojans Game

UCLA defenseman Laiatu Latu put up an incredible game against the Trojans, and it earned him another Pac-12 honor.
He won the Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week honor for his performance against the rival USC Trojans this past weekend. Latu put up two sacks, two tackles for loss and seven total tackles in helping UCLA take down USC.
It was a strong performance overall, and he continues his incredible season. On the year, Latu has 46 combined tackles, 20.5 of them for loss and 13 sacks. He also has one interception added as well.
He is likely to become a top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, and whoever gets him will receive a force on the defensive end of the field. Latu uses his strength to get to the backfield to disrupt plays, and NFL teams are going to love him.
His motor for the game of football is special, and he is the best defensive player to play for the Bruins in some time. He has helped turn this defense around this year, and it’s been great to watch him play.
