Southern (N.C.) four-star junior Jackson Keith was on campus for an unofficial UNC basketball visit in mid-September. Four weeks later, he is now set to be in town again on Friday, according to Rivals' Houston Wilson.

Presumably, the 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward will attend the evening's Live Action with Carolina Basketball event in the Dean E. Smith Center and see the 2023-24 Tar Heels formally introduce themselves as a group to the fanbase. Those festivities begin at 7 p.m. ET.

Keith, No. 72 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, has not reported an offer from head coach Hubert Davis.

However, UNC basketball assistant Jeff Lebo checked in on Keith at his high school in Durham just a few days after his trip to Chapel Hill to catch an inside glimpse of the Tar Heels. So, the mutual interest sure seems significant.

For now, UNC's 2025 wishlist consists of eight names:

  • Five-star guard Darryn Peterson
  • Five-star guard Cayden Boozer
  • Five-star guard Jasper Johnson
  • Five-star forward Isiah Harwell
  • Five-star forward Cameron Boozer
  • Five-star forward Koa Peat
  • Five-star forward Caleb Wilson
  • Five-star forward Bryson Tiller.

Notice the "five-star" next to each. All eight targets rank among the top 20 in the class.
