It's safe to say that if you are a student at the University of Southern California and you love sports, you are in for the quite the treat this coming year as both the men's basketball and football teams have done an excellent job these past few years of compiling rosters that will look to compete deep into their respective seasons and 2023 is no different.

We already know about the Trojans' newest backcourt on their basketball squad as Isaiah Collier announced his commitment after a senior campaign that saw him named the number one player in his graduating high school squad. Bronny James will also be rocking red and gold this coming season and beyond just his family ties, he is one of the best defenders and shooters in this year's freshman crop.

Let's also not forget about the returners for their squad this year as Boogie Ellis, Kobe Johnson and Joshua Morgan all were huge contributors for the Trojans in 2022 and will look to pave the way for these younger guys.

And it looks like above everybody else waiting for the new season to kick off, USC's star quarterback Caleb Williams believes in the men's basketball team accomplishing a lot this year.

"There's a little different vibe here right now with all the new guys coming in, all the old guys coming back," said Williams. "My boy Kobe just hit a shot behind us. It's exciting, glad to be here and can't wait to see what they do during the season."

It's great to hear Williams voicing his support for the guys and it's going to be amazing to see what he does on the gridiron next season as well!
