USC Women's Basketball: Two Trojans Stars Land All Pac-12 Honors

With the women's college basketball regular season coming to a close, the Pac-12 conference has announced their annual end-of-year awards and honors.
Two USC Trojans have been named to this year's All-Pac-12 team in McKenzie Forbes and JuJu Watkins. Forbes and Watkins were two of fifteen Pac-12 women's hoops players added to the 2023-2024 team.

Neither addition comes as a surprise, as both Watkins and Forbes were tremendous for USC this season. Watkins averaged the second-most points in the nation, with 27.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. The Harvard transfer Forbes added in 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season.

In addition to Forbes and Watkins, Rayah Marshall was honorable mention for the All-Pac-12 team. Watkins and Marshall were both honorable mentions for the Pac-12 All-Defensive team.

Watkins picked up some additional hardware, easily winning the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award. She also was named to the Pac-12 All Freshman team.
These honors highlight was has been an incredible season for USC Trojans. Thanks to players like Forbes, Watkins and Marshall, the Trojans finished the season third in the Pac-12 with a 23-5 overall record and a 13-5 record. They ranked No. 5 in the AP Top 25 poll, and look to be a high seed for both the Pac-12 tournament and March Madness tournament.
