USC football has added its fourth 2024 commit in the past 48 hours — and the latest one could turn out to be the best of the bunch.

According to a report from 247Sports.com's Steve Wiltfong, four-star Booker T. Washington (Atlanta) defensive lineman Kameryn Fountain has committed to USC.

Fountain is the No. 50 rated prospect in the 2024 class, per 247Sports.com, and the No. 6 edge rusher. Fountain chose USC over Tennessee, South Carolina and a number of other high profile schools.

With Fountain and top 100 cornerback Dakoda Fields both committing to USC on Monday, the Trojans now have two top 100 prospects on defense in their 2024 class. That's one more than the program had last cycle (Braylan Shelby).

As mentioned previously, it's been a whirlwind two days for USC coming off the program's biggest official visit weekend of the year thus far. The Trojans hosted 12 prospects last weekend, and four have committed. Another is expected to pledge to USC soon.

The Trojans' 2024 class now has seven members as Fountain and Fields join four-star Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, Ore.) tight end Joey Olsen, three-star McKinney (Texas) running back Bryan Jackson and four-star Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) wide receiver Xavier Jordan.

Three-star Cherry Creek (Englewood, Colo.) offensive lineman Hayden Treter and four-star Clearwater safety Jarvis Boatwright both committed to USC on Sunday.
