USC football: Trojans predicted to receive commitment from 4-star wide receiver

Ryan Pellum is the No. 69 prospect nationally in the 2024 class

Following USC's biggest official visit weekend of the year, the recruiting predictions favoring the Trojans are flooding in.

The latest is from On3.com's Justin Hopkins. He logged a prediction on Tuesday forecasting that the Trojans will receive a commitment from four-star Millikan (Long Beach, Calif.) wide receiver Ryan Pellum.

Pellum announced his two finalists of Oregon and USC on Monday. He visited USC last weekend and is scheduled to take a trip to Eugene this weekend. 247Sports.com's composite ranks Pellum as the No. 69 prospect nationally in the 2024 class and the No. 14 wide out. He's 5-foot-11 and weighs 170 pounds.

Here's 247Sports.com's scouting report on Pellum:

Pellum is a two-way player who is being recruited primarily as a receiver. He shows the ability to be a game breaker and a true home run hitter from anywhere on the field. He's a natural pass catcher with strong hands and is a smooth route runner. He's explosive after the catch as well and should be an early impact guy in the return game. He’s a fiery competitor, which you like, but it’s also something he needs to reign in at times as his emotions can get the best of him. At his best, he’s an impact player with the talent to play immediately at the college level. He has the skill set and toughness to be big time corner in college as well but prefers the offensive side of the ball.
