Big Ten Weekly Awards Spotlight: Nathanial Vakos

In the latest round of Big Ten Weekly Awards, the Wisconsin Badgers have a new star on the rise—kicker Nathanial Vakos. He's been named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.

Vakos, an Avon, Ohio native, has made a seamless transition to the Badgers' roster this season. He had a great 2022 season playing in Ohio, where he participated in all 13 games and made 19 of his 23 attempted field goals. He has maintained that momentum in the Badger State.

So far, his Wisconsin stats are impressive. He has gone 7 for 7 in field goals, with the longest one clocking in at 49 yards. These numbers don't just speak; they shout. Vakos is a player worth paying attention to.

The Big Ten Weekly Awards often spotlight players with extraordinary skill sets, and Vakos is no exception.
