Aljamain Sterling and Sean O'Malley are raising the stakes ahead of UFC 292.

The "Funk Master" will be putting his bantamweight championship on the line against O'Malley in the UFC 292 main event. O'Malley and his coach, Tim Welch, have expressed their belief that Sterling may not be taking the "Sugar" show seriously.

Welch even questioned Sterling's choices for sparring partners who don't have O'Malley's fighting style during an episode of the "TimboSugarShow."

During a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, Aljamain Sterling revealed that Sean O'Malley sent him some DMs on social media. The exchange ended with both men agreeing to put some money on the line ahead of UFC 292.

"Sean O'Malley slid into my DMs," Sterling said. "'Saw you on TV, you looked hella nervous.' And then I sent him two voice notes just obnoxiously laughing, like fake laugh, obviously. At the end of this I said, 'A hundred bucks to whoever gets the first takedown, deal?' He said, 'Deal.' So, let's see if he actually obliges and tries to shoot and tries to wrestle with me, 'cause it might be an early night for that guy."

Sterling and O'Malley will collide inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. They'll throw leather on August 19. Stick with MMAKnockout.com, as we'll be bringing you video highlights of the UFC 292 headliner.
