The victory was Morales' 13th overall and his first MMA win since Aug. 2022. Morales has been around the MMA scene for several years and had stints in Bellator and the UFC, finishing 2-1 and 1-4, respectively.
Morales' last UFC appearance came in Feb. 2018, losing to Manny Bermudez via second-round guillotine choke. His lone win in the promotion came against Andre Soukhamtath at UFC 209 in March 2017, as he edged out a split decision.
Toliver's last win came in January, defeating Willie Gates by split decision at LXF 8.
