VIDEO: Aljamain Sterling's Teammate Scores Submission Win At UFC Fight Night Event
Nazim Sadykhov has only lost once in his mixed martial arts career and it was in his first professional fight where he was submitted by a rear naked choke. It looked like he would suffer that same fate on Saturday at UFC Vegas 77.
Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney is known for his first-round finishes and took the back of Sadykhov less than a minute into the first round.

Sadykhov was stuck in a body lock and fought off the submission for the rest of the first round. His tides turned in the second round where he masterfully trapped McKinney’s arm behind his back and finished things quickly with a rear-naked choke of his own.
It was the 9th-straight win for Sadykhov, who looks like another contender for Longo And Weidman MMA, the home of Aljamain Sterling. The current Bantamweight champion was in attendance at the UFC Apex to support his teammate.
Sadykhov said another reason the fight was special for him was that he had the chance to avenge another of his teammates Matt Frevola. Frevola has a 3-fight winning streak, but his last loss came at UFC 263 to McKinney.
“I’m the most loyal friend you could find. [Matt] Frevola I got you my brother. I got you. I waited 8 weeks to say that, feels great,” Sadykhov said. “Obviously, I respect Terrance McKinney. I didn’t have any feud with him to begin with, but hey listen the world is a boomerang so that victory came back around to us."
