Raheam Forest says he’s ready to step up and compete in the UFC after scoring an incredible knockout in the main event of Cage Fury FC 121.

CFFC 121 was supposed to be headlined by a featherweight title bout between Jose Perez and Chris Vasil, but when that fight was scrapped on weigh-in day the welterweight co-main event between Forest and Treston Vines was promoted to the night’s headlining spot.

“Rambo” entered the night after suffering his first career loss in a title bout against Charlie Radtke at CFFC 118 in April, but Forest quickly erased the memory of that result by absolutely running through Vines in just 26 seconds.

The 26-year-old unloaded with huge punches as Vines rose to his feet, and even as his opponent began falling to the mat Forest continued landing massive shots.

Now 7-1 as a professional with five first-round finishes, Forest was asked after the win what he had in mind for his next fight. Rather than call for another shot at the CFFC welterweight title, “Rambo” immediately called out UFC President Dana White and told him that he was ready for a chance in the UFC.

Forest’s quick win over Vines closed out what ended up being an action-packed CFFC 121 event in Tunica, Mississippi. Every fight on the main card ended in a stoppage, with three of those finishes coming inside the opening round.
