VIDEO: Official Trailer for Ex-UFC Star Nate Diaz’s Boxing Debut vs. Jake Paul
Drew Beaupré
We’re less than a month away from the boxing showdown between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul, and there’s a new trailer out to gets fans hyped for what’s shaping up to be one of the most-watched fights of the year.
Talk around the fight has died down somewhat over the summer following the press conference that the pair did back in May, and combat sports fans have largely been more preoccupied with last weekend’s epic UFC 290 as well as looking ahead to a stacked UFC 291 card at the end of this month.
Not to be outshined by the major announcements that have rocked the combat sports world recently, a new trailer for the boxing match has dropped just a few weeks out from the fight’s scheduled date on August 5.

Rather than just focus on Diaz’s incredible MMA career that saw him challenge for a UFC title and share the Octagon with some of the sport’s biggest stars, the trailer makes a point to highlight the fact that the 38-year-old has always wanted to test himself in the boxing ring.
Paul is coming off the first loss of his boxing career after he dropped a decision to Tommy Fury earlier this year, and “Problem Child” promises to do “what Conor McGregor couldn’t do” by knocking out one of the most durable fighters in MMA history.
