Jimmy Quinn made Cage Warriors history when he won his pro debut via sensational knockout at Cage Warriors 156 in Cardiff, Wales.

The 23-year-old’s finishing skills were already well-documented ahead of his pro debut after every fight during his 5-1 amateur career ended inside the distance, and in his final amateur bout last October he finished Kasheen Khan via spinning heel kick in the first round.

The Cage Warriors Academy product was matched with Dan Kneil in a bantamweight bout that opened the main card portion of Cage Warriors 156, and Quinn only needed ten seconds to floor Kneil with a perfect left hook for his first pro victory.

Quinn initially appeared hesitant to follow up on the ground before diving in with a couple of right hands, and although Kneil tried to protest the stoppage he quickly fell back to the mat after attempting to get to his feet.

A quick knockout like this is a dream result for virtually any fighter, and having it occur in a pro debut only makes the 23-year-old's performance even more memorable. In addition to starting his pro career off with a fantastic highlight, Quinn has now etched his name in Cage Warriors history by setting a record for the promotion’s fastest knockout.

Quinn’s victory was a tremendous way to kick off the Cage Warriors 156 main card, but the event’s prelims also included another three finishes out of four fights with two bouts ending inside the first round.

The rest of the event’s main card also included a few other up-and-coming prospects worth watching, plus a main event featuring UFC veteran Darren Stewart taking on Matthew Bonner in a middleweight matchup.
