WWE 2K24: Brock Lesnar Status Update Reportedly Revealed Amid Janel Grant Case

A new report has surfaced on the status of Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K24.

The status of Brock Lesnar in the upcoming WWE 2K24 video game has received an update, if one report is to be believed.

Lesnar has been scrubbed from WWE programming and products, although some of his merchandise remains on WWE Shop. This has been done amid the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE for alleged sexual assault and trafficking.

A report from the Wall Street Journal claimed that Lesnar was the unnamed superstar who requested explicit images and a video of Grant from McMahon during contract negotiations. It was also alleged that a "play date" with Brock and Grant had been planned, but it didn't end up happening due to inclement weather.

Now, it looks like the former multiple-time WWE Champion won't be playable in WWE 2K24.

Insider Gaming reports that Brock Lesnar will not be a selectable character in WWE 2K24 when it releases on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on March 8. The report notes that it was too late to have Lesnar's files removed from the game, and that "The Beast" may still be featured in some game modes, but his likeness is said to be minor at this point.

Lesnar was originally on the cover of the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition of WWE 2K24, but he was removed from the artwork earlier this month. Along with Lesnar, several reports have indicated that WWE also worked hard to have Vince McMahon removed from the game entirely.
