UFC CEO Dana White Doesn’t Care About Super Bowl LVIII, Reveals "Better Team"
UFC CEO Dana White kept his Super Bowl expectations short and straightforward.
MMA's most potent promoter has a deep allegiance to his Boston, Mass. roots, making him a New England Patriots fan. Despite his fandom, he is also good friends with owner Robert Kraft and ex-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

When it comes to Sunday night's tilt, a Super Bowl rematch, White is rooting for a good game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
"“I don’t give a s**t because the [New Engalnd] Patriots aren’t in it,” White said Friday after Power Slap 6 had wrapped up. (H/T MMAMania) “I just think it's hard to bet against [Patrick] Mahomes, [Travis] Kelce, and [Andy] Reid, but I think the 49ers are the better team. I just think Kansas City knows how to win. At the end of the day, whoever wins, wins, I could care less.”
Despite White choosing not to attend the Super Bowl, minus a slight first-quarter commercial taping, he told Roger Goodell that "The Big Game" should take place in Las Vegas every year, along with other major American sporting championships.
The Super Bowl isn't the only major sporting event in Las Vegas this week, as Top Rank boxing hosted a card Thursday night, and UFC Vegas 86 took place Saturday night. Both events aired on ESPN and ESPN+, respectively, giving combat sports fans their weekly fight fix.
The UFC will return to Sin City on April 13 for UFC 300, which, at press time, is still without a main event.
