UFC 300: Dana White Remains Coy On Main Event: "Still Working On It”
With under 70 days until UFC 300, the monumental event in Las Vegas, Nevada, is still without a definitive main event.
UFC CEO Dana White was spotted on the city streets just days away from Super Bowl LVIII between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. Despite White choosing to not take in the sights and sounds of the NFL’s grand finale, he took time to address the latest with UFC 300.
White kept his sentiments brief, as no new progress has been made toward finalization of the pay-per-view card.
White did say Conor McGregor’s next fight would take place in the summer, contrary to his interview on Radio Row Wednesday afternoon, where fall was the target timeframe.

“It's been an interesting time trying to make the main event for this thing,” White told New York City street reporter Adam Glyn. “We're still working on it.”
At press time, the promotion is in the midst of an 11-week stretch of events, which continues Saturday night with UFC Vegas 86. It then moves to Anaheim, California, for UFC 298 and to Miami, Florida, for UFC 299, with trips to Atlantic City and Mexico City sprinkled in between.
The streak of events culminates with UFC 300, marking a new chapter in the sport’s history and the start of a new categorical number, one which hasn’t been seen since July 2016 with UFC 200.
