VIDEO: Heavyweight Junior Tafa Lands Incredible Walk-Off KO at UFC Singapore

Parker Porter better hope there's not a third Tafa brother that the UFC plans to sign.

Junior Tafa collected his first UFC victory in violent fashion when he finished Parker Porter in the first round at UFC Singapore.

“The Juggernaut” had considerable success as a kickboxer before he decided to follow his brother Justin into MMA, and it only took three wins (all via stoppage) for the UFC to sign the 26-year-old.

Tafa made his promotional debut against The Ultimate Fighter winner Mohammad Usman back in April, but unfortunately the New Zealander found himself on his back for long periods of the fight and ended up losing a unanimous decision.

Scheduled to kick off the main card of UFC Singapore opposite Porter for his second outing with the promotion, Tafa erased the memory of his lackluster debut by flooring his opponent in less than two minutes.

The UFC Singapore prelims featured a number of impressive finishes and saw Waldo Cortes-Acosta knock out Łukasz Brzeski in another heavyweight contest, but no fighter from earlier on the card was able to get things done as quickly as Tafa did.

All four of the New Zealander’s win in MMA have come via strikes, and for Porter the loss probably stings especially badly considering he was also knocked out by Justin Tafa when the pair met at UFC 284 earlier this year.
