F1 News: Kevin Magnussen Out Of Dutch GP FP3
Kevin Magnussen has crashed out of the third and final free practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix.
The session started this morning with heavy rainfall meaning the drivers chose a mix of wet weather tyres and intermediate tyres. The Danish driver, on the latter tyre option, lost control at Turn 3 and ended up colliding with the race wall. Thankfully he was able to jump out of the car and walk away.

Turn 3 has proved a sticking point over the weekend so far with Oscar Piastri and Daniel Ricciardo both going off one after the other at the same place yesterday. Ricciardo has suffered from a broken wrist from the impact leaving Red Bull reserve driver Liam Lawson taking his spot in the AlphaTauri.
Magnussen's crash is the second spell of bad luck for the Haas team this weekend after Nico Hulkenberg crashed yesterday damaging his upgraded front wing.
With just a few hours to go until qualifying, the team will need to assess and repair the damage quickly. Qualifying is extremely important at the Zandvoort track which can be difficult to overtake on so the team will be looking to drastically turn things around.
"Session suspended and unfortunately it’s because Kevin has lost control of his car at turn 3 on his out lap. He’s out of his car and ok. There looks to be damage on the front left corner."
