Aaron Judge Takes Batting Practice in Luka Doncic's Shoes

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge showed love to Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic's sneakers.

Baseball season is coming in hot this year. Between the MLB rule changes and the World Baseball Classic, fans have plenty to debate. However, there is no arguing about who the biggest star in the sport is right now.

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is coming off a historic season that resulted in an equally unprecedented contract to keep the team captain in pinstripes. Even better, Judge is drawing in new fans that are interested in his impressive sneaker rotation.

There have not been any official announcements, but Judge has shown a lot of love to Jordan Brand in recent months. Yesterday, the American League homerun king posted pictures of himself wearing the signature shoes of Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic during batting practice.

Judge recently warmed up in the Jordan Luka 1 in the 'Reverse Orca' colorway. The white and black shoes were released in November 2022 for $110. Fans can find this exact pair of shoes at above retail price on sneaker resale websites.

Frugal fans can choose between several other colorways of the Jordan Luka 1 at or below retail price on the Nike website. The performance basketball shoes have been a hit among hoopers thanks to their low-profile build and unbeatable technology.

The Jordan Luka 1 features Formula 23 foam for impact protection and Flightwire cables for containment. Meanwhile, the rubber outsole enables players to easily change direction on the hardwood.

This is not the first time Judge has taken batting practice in basketball shoes. During last season's All-Star Weekend, the 6'7" ballplayer warmed up in the Nike Kobe 5 in a Los Angeles Lakers colorway.

MLB Opening Day is just five days away, and we are eager to see if Judge can recreate the magical season he enjoyed last year. One thing is for sure; there will never be a dull moment with Judge in the Big Apple.
