Klay Thompson Debuts His 9th Sneaker With ANTA

Klay Thompson promoted his ninth signature sneaker with ANTA during a tour of Asia.
In this story:

Klay Thompson has never received the level of respect he deserves. The Golden State Warriors shooting guard has played an outsized role in the team's dynastic run and is still somehow underappreciated - except for when he is in Asia.

Thompson and his teammate, Kevon Looney, have visited the Philippines this week as part of the ANTA summer tour. Warriors fans treated Thompson and Looney with the love they deserve. To stoke fans' excitement, Thompson unveiled his ninth signature sneaker.

As you can see in the Instagram video above, ANTA rolled out the red carpet for the two NBA stars. If it wasn't cool enough seeing "Captain Klay" interacting with fans, many were able to purchase the newly-released ANTA KT9.

Thompson initially signed a sneaker deal with the Chinese brand in 2014 before agreeing to a ten-year, $80 million contract extension in 2017. Unfortunately for most fans in North America, they do not know where to begin searching for Thompson's shoes. Below is everything online shoppers need to know about easily purchasing Thompson's newest kicks.

The ANTA KT9 officially launched on Thursday, August 31. Of course, the shoes are available on the brand's website. However, our friends over at KICKS CREW are already stocked with a wide selection of Thompson's newest signature sneakers.

The up-and-coming sneaker platform easily has the widest reach in the footwear community and makes it simple for hoops fans in the United States to purchase shoes from foreign brands.

The new NBA season will be here before we know it, and Thompson will be poised for more monster performances in his latest ANTA gear. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com to learn more about what your favorite athletes wear on and off the court.
