LeBron James Dominates Grizzlies in All-White Nikes

LeBron James debuted a new colorway of his latest Nike shoes during Game 3 victory.

Saturday night was a movie in Tinsel Town. The Los Angeles Lakers dominated the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 of the first-round Western Conference Playoff game. Once again, LeBron James led the way with an efficient 25 points and nine rebounds.

With all eyes on the primetime matchup, James used the platform to debut a new colorway of his latest Nike shoes. Over the past few months, James has worn the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen. The model is a follow-up release to his 20th signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 20.

James stood out in a nearly all-white colorway of the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen. Luckily for fans, the icy kicks were recently released to the public and are still available for $160 in adult sizes on the Nike website.

Some casual fans may view the white sneakers as underwhelming, but they are anything but dull. Several nods to James' history are scattered throughout the shoe, including the outsole pattern, which is a map of Akron, Ohio. Below is what fans must know about the performance basketball shoes.

How can Nike improve upon the LeBron 20? The low-cut shoe breathed new life into James' signature sneaker line. Not only did fans and hoopers love the model, but James made history in it when he became the NBA's all-time leading scorer.

By now, we should all know that James and Nike are never content with settling for the status quo. The LeBron NXXT Gen is lighter, lower to the ground, and tailored to meet the demands of the modern game.

The large forefoot Zoom Air unit is curved to bend in multiple directions, while a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel adds cushioning. In addition, the upper is lightweight and durable thanks to the open-hole mesh material.

James has already enjoyed a historic season, but it appears that he and the Lakers are not even close to finished yet. Stick with FanNation Kicks to keep up with James' sneakers and the rest of the footwear world.
