Odell Beckham Jr. Wears Custom Chrome Hearts Cleats

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. wore custom cleats to conceal the Nike Swoosh logos.

No company on the planet has more recognizable branding than Nike. Thanks to its iconic Swoosh logo, any gear from the quintessentially American sports apparel giant is unmistakable.

For Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., it is one of the last brands he wants to be associated with now. Beckham is currently taking legal action against Nike, claiming the brand withheld at least $20 million in back salary and guaranteed royalties.

That did not stop the 3x NFL Pro Bowler from wearing Nike cleats on the field before Baltimore's final preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccanneers on Saturday night. However, "OBJ" did have his all-black cleats customized with multi-color crosses.

The crosses are inspired by the luxury fashion brand Chrome Hearts. Based in Hollywood, California, Chrome Hearts has made a name for itself by collaborating with many of the biggest celebrities in the world.

While we wait for Beckham's lawsuit to play out and the start of the NFL regular season to kick off, Ravens fans can stock up on their team gear on the Nike website. Unlike Chrome Hearts, Nike is slightly more affordable for the average fan. Stay locked into FanNation Kicks for all your footwear news.
