Stephen Curry's Shoes Releasing in Legendary Colorway
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry could not participate in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game due to an injury. But that did not stop Curry Brand and Under Armour from warming up Salt Lake City, Utah, with some serious heat.
Athletes, influencers, and fans lined up at the Under Armour pop-up to recreate one of Curry's most iconic shots. Additionally, sneakerheads were treated to a sneak peek at the "Double Bang!" colorway of the Curry Flow 10 and Curry 2 Retro, which are releasing this Friday, February 24, on the Under Armour website.
Curry Flow 10
Curry's historic 10th signature shoe continues to change the game for good while celebrating important moments in the career of the greatest three-point shooter of all time.
On February 27, 2016, Curry turned the lights out on the Oklahoma City Thunder with a devastating 32-foot buzzer-beater. ESPN announcer Mike Breen exclaimed, “BANG! BANG!” and a legendary new catchphrase was born.
Naturally, Curry Brand is going to have some fun with the moment and reimagine the player-exclusive colorway for the Curry Flow 10. The Curry 2 Retro is also getting released as the second "Bang!" to this exciting release.
Curry 2 Retro
As seen in the original player-exclusive shoes on Curry’s feet in 2016, the reimagined colorway features the same golden yellow hue with a giraffe print, honoring the favorite animal of Stephen’s daughter, Riley.
Double Bang! is coming out with a bang with its first-ever global release on Friday, February 24, on UA.com and at select UA Brand Houses, giving sneakerheads across the globe their first opportunity to celebrate one of the most iconic moments in NBA history.
