The New Balance FuelCell Lindor 2 Is Out Now
Baseball fans never want to hear anything about a storm - until now. New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor's second signature New Balance shoe has officially arrived.
Last month, Lindor debuted the model against the New York Yankees in the Subway Series. After weeks of anticipation, the FuelCell Lindor 2 Pre-Game Summer Storm (turf trainer) and FuelCell Lindor 2 Summer Storm (cleat) have hit the stores.
Athletes and fans can purchase the turf trainers for $130 online and the cleats for $150 online at the New Balance website. Below is everything you need to know about the highly anticipated dual drop.
New Balance FuelCell Lindor 2
The FuelCell Lindor 2 features New Balance’s most advanced performance materials, utilizing the brand’s energy return midsole foam, FuelCell. The lively, dual-density, energy-returning midsole is amplified by the ABZORB cushioning under the heel and forefoot.
The eye-catching upper contains a two-strap system that allows more lockdown across the foot, while the sliding closure system fastens faster than tying traditional laces. This is a design element specifically requested by Lindor, so it can meet the demands of an MLB game.
The ‘Summer Storm’ colorway is a creative twist on the traditional baseball shoe. With sleek grey, a burst of teal, and a catchy Pixel Green outsole, the design brings a storm of new energy to the baseball category. Lindor gave fans insight into the design process last month.
The Lindor 2 Collection will also include a Vintage Puerto Rico, Tropical Fiesta, and other exciting colorways throughout the season in both cleat and pre-game versions. Stay locked into FanNation Kicks for all your sneaker coverage.
