Mykhailo Mudryk scored his first Stamford Bridge goal for Chelsea with a spectacular fluke against Arsenal on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Ukrainian winger found the net with a mishit cross from the left flank that caught Arsenal keeper David Raya out of position.

Mudryk's bizarre goal arrived three minutes into the second half and put Chelsea 2-0 ahead, after Cole Palmer had earlier opened the scoring from a penalty kick.

This was the second goal of Mudryk's Chelsea career.

Raya - who arrived at Arsenal from Brentford in August - almost cost his team another goal moments later when he lost possession to Palmer inside the 18-yard box. But Palmer was unable to capitalize on the chance.

A keeping error at the other end then helped Arsenal get back into the contest in the 77th minute.

Robert Sanchez's misplaced pass was picked up by Declan Rice, who whipped a shot into the net from more than 30 yards with the Chelsea stopper out of position.

Leandro Trossard then volleyed home from a Bukayo Saka cross seven minutes later to earn the Gunners a 2-2 draw.
