The Panthers went back to work on their roster, adding two defensive players in the latter part of the week. Safety Kedrick Whitehead Jr. and defensive tackle Damion Daniels signed UFL contracts with Michigan.

Whitehead was an undrafted free agent last year who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being waived by the team with an injury settlement in September. He received many accolades during his time at Delaware, including First Team All-American and First Team All-CAA, and finished 21st in program history in career tackles with 295.

Daniels lands on his feet in the UFL again after being released by the Houston Roughnecks less than a week ago. He played with the Houston Gamblers in the USFL last year, making six tackles, and he had a tackle in one game with the XFL's St. Louis Battlehawks last season as well. The 24-year-old also played for the Houston Texans in the NFL and was an All-Big Ten honorable mention at Nebraska.

The Michigan Panthers will have some decisions to make, with rosters needing to be cut down to 58 players by Sunday.

On March 30, the Panthers open the season against the St. Louis Battlehawks at home.
