Barron Collier Cougars cruises by Palmetto Ridge Bears 49-0 in Florida high school football game
Palmetto Ridge - Barron Collier High School quarterback Niko Boyce accumulated 274 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide the Barron Collier Cougars to a 49-0 win over the Palmetto Ridge Bears on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Cougars also received impressive efforts from running back Jackson Polly who rushed 4 times for 85 yards and 3 touchdowns and running back Juan Acuna who rushed 2 times for 9 yards.
Palmetto Ridge's Demetri Zertopoulis threw for 28 yards and Isaac Garcia picked up 27 rushing yards.
The win helps Barron Collier improve to 1-0 on the season while Palmetto Ridge falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
