Putnam beats Molalla 14-7

Putnam High School - RB Curtis Hoyle picked up 67 rushing yards to lead Putnam to a 14-7 win over Molalla on Friday night at Putnam High School.

The Kingsmen also recieved crucial efforts from QB Marcellus Kenion who completed 4 passes for 60 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Isaiah Schumacher who rushed 9 times for 70 yards.

Molalla's WR Chase Jazdinzke threw for 87 yards, RB Braden Hibbs picked up 18 rushing yards and TE Brandon Palmer had 73 receiving yards.

The win helps Putnam improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Putnam travels to Milwaukie, OR to take on the La Salle Falcons on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Molalla travels to Banks, OR to take on the Banks Braves on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
