Central Valley Bears edge University Titans 27-24 in Washington high school football game
Central Valley HS - Central Valley High School quarterback Luke Abshire racked up 373 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide the Central Valley Bears to a 27-24 win over the University Titans on Friday night at CVHS in a high school football game.
The Bears also received vital efforts from linebacker Trevor Gravelle who rushed 1 time for 16 yards and defensive back Dylan Gravelle who caught 5 passes for 41 yards.
University's wide receiver Tre Buchanen threw for 73 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Malaki Miller picked up 83 rushing yards and running back Dayton Thompson had 73 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Central Valley improve to 4-1 on the season while University falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
