Angels News: Shohei Ohtani's Frustrations Mounting and Hes's Having a Hard Time Hiding it
Everyone in baseball is gearing up for the free agency of all free agencies this winter that will include Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani has transformed the way people look at the game of baseball and has dazzled audiences with his skillset since entering the league.
He is the best player on the planet and some believe that he could be the best ever. So when he becomes available on the open market, the bidding will be unlike anything that we’ve ever seen.
However, despite all the greatness of Ohtani, the Angels have yet to reach the playoffs once with him on the roster. It’s been a tough thing to see for baseball fans as the best player is always sitting at home during the biggest games of the year.
Ohtani has previously talked about winning being his biggest priority which is why many believe he will leave the Angels once he is a free agent. Ohtani added some fuel to that narrative after another loss for the team right out the gates from the All-Star break. It's clear that the superstar is tired of losing games.
“I’m frustrated to a certain point,” Ohtani said. “Not just me. But I feel like the whole team is. I feel like it’s only natural when we can’t win games that the frustrations build up.”

If the Angels want any chance to hold onto Ohtani past this season, they need to make the playoffs but their chances keep dwindling by the day. Ohtani and the Angels seem to be heading for a divorce but it's just a matter of when.
If the team continues to spiral downwards, they will really need to consider trading the superstar at the trade deadline. They can't afford to just lose this once in a generation level talent for nothing over the offseason. However, the team has signaled that they want to hold onto Ohtani for the rest of the year so it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
But whatever happens, it's clear that things keep pilling on up for Ohtani and he isn't the happiest player at this moment.
