The Toronto Blue Jays are solidifying their bullpen by adding Anthony Bass and Zach Pop from the Miami Marlins according to the NY Post's Jon Heyman. In return the Blue Jays are sending Jordan Groshans who is the 82nd ranked prospect in baseball according to MLB.com.

Bass helps provide late inning help for Toronto as he has served in the closer's role for Miami this season. He recorded 15 saves and accumulated a 1.41 ERA over the course of 44.2 innings pitched in 2022. He will slot in nicely with Yimi Garcia and Jordan Romano near the back end of the bullpen.

Pop is another reliever who has had a decent season. The righty has tossed 20.0 innings this season to the tune of a 3.60 ERA with a 1.250 WHIP.

It is an interesting package for the Blue Jays as they look to keep pace in the American League East and wild card races.
