WATCH: Sean Murphy keeps on keeping on, adds to Braves' lead late

Just another 3-4, 4 RBI night for the Atlanta catcher

The Red Sox were scorching hot last week, winning eight in a row before finally dropping their Sunday game at Philly. But the Braves' bats have been hotter tonight, with guys up and down the lineup blasting rockets all over the yard. Prominent in this onslaught has been catcher Sean Murphy, who's reached base four times tonight and has now knocked in four runs.

He seems like he hits a run-scoring rope every time up, and nights like tonight won't do anything to dim his stellar, league-leading statistical profile. The game now moves to the ninth, with freshly called-up Danny Young looking to wrap up a 9-3 win.

Tomorrow night wraps up the short two-game series with the Red Sox. First pitch at Truist Park is again set for 7:20 ET, and the telecast with Voice of the Braves Brandon Gaudin is available on Bally Sports South. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on WIFN 1340 AM/103.7FM or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
