The Los Angeles Dodgers were swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in embarrassing fashion in the NLDS.

They scored just six runs across the three games of the series, and went out even sadder than they did last year.

After losing the first two games in Los Angeles, the team traveled back to Arizona for the potential elimination games. It took the Diamondbacks just one game to complete the sweep, meaning they got to celebrate taking down the 100-win Dodgers in front of their own fans... and their own pool.

The infamous Chase Field pool was cleaned ahead of Wednesday's game, and the Diamondbacks made it worth the team's while.

After beating the Dodgers and knocking them out of the postseason, they celebrated in a storybook, Hollywood fashion, jumping into the pool.

The Dodgers famously celebrated their 2013 NL West division title by jumping into that same pool, much to the dismay of the Diamondbacks. The team went as far as to hire security to guard the pool in 2017 and 2022, but this year, the team's president said he wouldn't forbid the Dodgers from celebrating in the pool if the time came.

Well, the time came to celebrate in the Chase Field pool, but it wasn't the Dodgers who were doing the splashing.
