The Cleveland Guardians are going through quite an offense rough patch right now, but at least they've avoided being swept. Cleveland has now long three straight series at the hands of the Detroit Tigers, Miami Marlins, and now the Colorado Rockies.

The Guardians dropped their first two games of the series but were able to bounce back in the finale to grab a win. The pitching is what really has done the Guardians in over the last week and a half, but things appear to be changing on that front.

Tanner Bibee made his long-awaited MLB debut on Wednesday afternoon and looked like the Big League pitcher fans were expecting. He pitched 5.2 innings in his debut striking out eight batters, no walks, and only allowed one earned run.

It would be shocking to see him get optioned right back down to Triple-A after a performance such as that one.

The offense did come around thanks to a Josh Naylor two-run home run to give the Guardians an early lead. They also added on another run thanks to an Oscar Gonzalez RBI double and a Will Brennan RBI ground out.

It may not have been the offensive explosion everyone was hoping for, but they have to start somewhere. It still felt as though there was something missing. Cleveland left nine runners on base and they had plenty of opportunities to build a bigger lead.

The Guardians hit the road and will take on a Boston Red Sox team who is playing solid baseball in the best division in MLB at the moment. It'll be a tough test but Cleveland has the talent to pass it.
