76ers vs. Cavaliers Prediction for Today, 2/12

Taking on the Cavs these days always proves difficult, as they’re an incredible 17-3 over their last 20 games. Of course, the 76ers not having Joel Embiid, among others, certainly doesn’t help things either.

However, Philly was able to snap their four-game losing skid on Saturday night, so building some momentum heading into the All-Star break is not out of the question. They’ve allowed the second-fewest points per game this season and are coming off back-to-back games allowing just 95 points. They haven’t allowed more than 110 points in six straight games! Philly hasn’t been quite that dominant, but Cleveland is still just a middle-of-the-pack scoring team.

Along with Embiid and other starters not available, there simply isn’t as much scoring on the court. Therefore, our best 76ers vs. Cavaliers prediction is under 229.5 points (-112) at FanDuel Sportsbook.

That’s why we’ve seen Maxey record seven assists in two of Philly’s last three games. When he faced Philly earlier this season, he pulled down 12 boards, and that was with Embiid on the court. He’s also recorded double-digit rebounds in four of the Cavs’ five games this month. The most impressive of those was a 14-rebound performance against Damontis Sabonis and the Sacramento Kings, who recently had a triple-double against Denver’s Nikola Jokic.
