Cavaliers Sign Former 2019 First-Round Pick
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been incredibly busy since free agency started on Friday at 6:00. It started with bringing back Caris LeVert and signing Goerges Niang. Then they pulled off a sign-and-trade to acquire Max Strus from the Miami Heat.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavs have reached a two-year $5 million deal with former 2019 first-round pick, Ty Jerome.
Jerome has bounced around the league since being treated by the Phoenix Suns in 2019. His latest stint was with the Golden State Warriors last season where he averaged 6.9 points, 3.0 assists, and shot 48 percent from the floor in 18.1 minutes a night.
This is an insurance signing for the Cavs. Hopefully, Ricky Rubio can return to his form before tearing his ACL in 2021. However, if that isn't the case then the Cavs are going to need another ball handler and playmaker off the bench.
Jerome is a solid option to fill this void.
