Two Upcoming Cavaliers Games Flexed To National Television
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the NBA’s premier teams so far this season, currently possessing the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
Also, their 18-2 record over their last 20 games is the league’s best mark since January 3.
With this success will now come more contests being broadcasted nationally.
Yesterday, the Cavaliers announced that a pair of home games early next month will now be broadcasted on national television.
Firstly, Cleveland’s contest on Tuesday, March 5 against the Boston Celtics will be on TNT at 7:30 p.m. Then, the team’s game on Friday, March 8 against the Minnesota Timberwolves will be on ESPN, also at 7:30 p.m.
The Wine and Gold’s contest against Minnesota will also be one of five games broadcasted for free via over-the-air television throughout the state of Ohio, including on WUAB Channel 43 in Northeast Ohio.
The Celtics (43-12) and Timberwolves (39-16) currently own the two best records in the NBA, and top seeds in the Eastern and Western Conference, respectively. The Cavaliers are not far behind, as their 36-17 record is tied for the fourth-best in the league.
Cleveland has faced Boston twice on the road this season, falling 120-113 on December 12, and 116-107 two days later. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have yet to face Minnesota this season.
