The LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers are set to play a huge matchup on Wednesday night, in a game that could determine who gets a top-six seed, and who finishes in the play-in tournament. If the Lakers defeat the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night, they will enter this match up sharing identical records with the Clippers.

Anthony Davis is playing at a superstar level right now for the Lakers, but according to Clippers head coach Ty Lue, the current game plan for Wednesday’s matchup is not to double-team the talented big man.

"It's gonna be hard," Lue said when asked about the matchup with Davis. "You're dealing with a great player. We're not gonna double team him like we have before in the past. [Ivica Zubac] will have that responsibility of just trying to be physical, trying to guard him. The thing I thought Zu did well was guard him in the post pretty well, but the pick and rolls is what hurts you. Him rolling, getting behind you, pick and pops, and stuff like that. So on the post-ups, Zu will be [one on one], and we'll just try to take everybody else out of the game."

Opting for single coverage on Davis, the Clippers hope this will allow them to neutralize other Lakers outside of the star big man.
