When it comes to the best big man in the NBA, there are a few players that come to most fans' minds - Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Anthony Davis to name a few. While that's what most people think about, it's not what Patrick Beverley thinks about.

On the newest episode of the Pat Bev Podcast, Patrick Beverley revealed that he believes Karl-Anthony Towns is the best shooting big man to ever play basketball.

"In my opinion, the best big, shooting big to play the game," Beverley said. "The highspot is at the top of the key. You're not hearing me."

Beverley doubled down on his statement, and said not only is Karl-Anthony Towns the best shooting big man of all-time, but that he's currently the best center in the NBA. He went even further, and explicitly said that Karl-Anthony Towns is a better center than both Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid.

"I have my own personal intake of who the best 5 man is right... My man, when it comes to like offensively gifted players, I say man... it's KAT and it's James Harden, and I think I got KAT one.

While it's great that Patrick Beverley supports his former teammates like KAT and James Harden, it's beyond clear that his statement isn't true. Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid are so far and above every other center in the NBA, that it's such an easily false statement. Regardless, this is why players in the NBA love playing with Patrick Beverley - he will be their biggest supporter, no matter what.
