Veteran guard Patrick Beverley is set to hit free agency this summer, and the guard sees a very high chance of him returning to the Houston Rockets. Beverley was traded from the Rockets to the LA Clippers back in 2017, and said on a recent episode of his podcast that there is a "very" high chance of him returning to Houston next season.

Beverley said the Rockets were one of the teams he was considering joining after being bought out by the Orlando Magic following his trade from the Los Angeles Lakers. With Houston prioritizing their youth movement, Beverley said it wasn't the right fit for him at the time, but he could certainly see himself going back there next season.

Beverley was also asked about rejoining James Harden on the Houston Rockets, as there are rumors about the Philadelphia 76ers star going back to Houston, but he didn't seem to know much about the validity of that noise.

Beverley has played 10 years in the NBA, spending time with the Houston Rockets, LA Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls. While he will explore free agency this summer, Beverley sees a high chance of him returning to the Houston Rockets as a veteran presence for that young group.

With talented young players, the 4th overall pick, and potentially James Harden, Houston could be an intriguing team next season.
