In an exclusive interview with Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints, LA Clippers star Paul George covered a multitude of topics, including the noise surrounding Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James considering retirement.

"I mean, that's LeBron's decision," George told Mistretta. "He's given us 20 amazing years, it's crazy that we're still baffled that he's thinking about retirement with all he's done and all he's given this game. I think… at some point I think that's what he's holding onto… I hope he can… he may have just taken time off to re-gather, regroup and come back when it’s time to play with his son."

George clearly understands what James has meant to the game of basketball, and added, "Again, all he's done for this league, as a mentor, as a leader, it will be nice for him to have that part where he can be satisfied that he's given the game everything and he's gone out the way he wanted to."

While many expect James to be back next season, the Lakers star was open about the need to think through his NBA future. Having dominated the league for two decades, accomplishing everything there is to accomplish, it's understandable why James is currently uncertain about moving forward with his playing career. This will certainly be a story to follow as James and the Lakers figure out how to approach this summer.
