It was a dominant first quarter for Russell Westbrook in Saturday afternoon's game vs. the Orlando Magic, as he finished the first frame with 11 points on 4/6 shooting. Scoring just one basket after that, Westbrook finished with 14 points on 5/14 from the field. Westbrook also turned the ball over six times, which was tough for the Clippers to overcome.

Clippers star Paul George was asked after the game about Westbrook's tough game, and said, "He's a professional, he's a veteran, top-75 player. He's gonna get through it. He knows to stay confident. He knows we trust him and got his back. He's gonna stay in attack mode. I don't ever worry about [Westbrook's] shooting. I know what he brings and his value to the team. That is bigger than anything, whether he makes or misses shots. He just does so much other stuff that - to me, I don't care. He plays hard. That's a guy I’m rolling with. He's a guy I wanna compete with on a nightly basis."

George has regularly uplifted Westbrook since the former league MVP arrived with the Clippers, and that has remained consistent through Westbrook's ups and downs. While this was a tough game for Westbrook, George is confident in his point guard, and said that's a guy he wants to battle with every single night.
