During the latest episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment, LA Clippers star Paul George told a shocking story about his former teammate Steven Adams. George and Adams were teammates with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and according to George, the veteran center once attempted to make himself bleed in order to secure an extra timeout.

"We needed a timeout but we didn't have any," George said. "So, I'm looking at [Steven Adams] and he's scratching his face hard as f--k. I'm like, 'Steve-O, bro, what are you doing?' He's like, 'Ah mate, we don’t have a timeout, I’m trying to bleed.'"

The NBA has mandatory timeouts for blood, which Adams was trying to secure for OKC. George was joined by Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. during this latest episode, who currently plays with Adams in Memphis. According to Jackson Jr., Adams is a player who just does his own thing.

"You know how like everybody has trainers, like they have their own programs. This man works out himself. He trains himself, he rehabs himself," Jackson Jr. said of Adams.

"People just watch him lift," Jackson Jr. continued. "I just see people watching him like he's at the zoo. [He does that whole] like the bear crawl to the flip to the weight… He be in the pool with weight doing jumps. I'm like, how do you do that?"

Adams is one of the most unique players in the NBA, and had some of his wild stories told on the latest episode of Podcast P.
